"In todays rapidly changing and increasingly competitive business world, organizations must learn to adapt quickly to survive. Companies must be prepared to create new structures, new cultures, new products and new markets to ensure their ongoing success.
I am a firm believer in the power of people and, in the right environment, their ability to set goals and transform organizations. It is incredible what can be accomplished with clear goals, effective leadership, energized people and empowered teams."

As a professional keynote speaker, workshop/seminar facilitator and organizational development consultant, Gareth Wood has been assisting thousands of individuals and hundreds of organizations around the world to grow, change and succeed.
Gareth's background includes 20 years of experience in customer service, training, administration and management, as well as 12 years as an independent consultant and trainer. He is a certified professional in the People Development, an effective, comprehensive methodology for human understanding. He is also recognized for his experience and skills in the areas of leading change, vision development, leadership development, collaborative strategic planning, people development and team building.

Where life or death hinges
on the effectiveness of the team.
Gareth's services combine his depth of knowledge in the areas of leadership and team development with his unique experiences as a member of the 1985-86 Antarctic Expedition "In The Footsteps of Scott". There he and two team members trekked 900 miles to the South Pole. Stretching the limits of human endurance, they became the first to cover such a distance without support - no dog teams, support parties, food caches, air support, or even radio communications.
"One of the ten greatest feats of the decade"
Outside Magazine
The expedition required many years of planning and over 4.5 million dollars in fundraising. As well, Gareth spent two years in near isolation in the Antarctic. In recognition of their achievement, Gareth and his teammates were personally presented with the Polar Medal by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace in 1988.
In 1996, Gareth co-authored a detailed account of his extraordinary journey entitled South Pole: 900 Miles on Foot. The book has received wide acclaim and can be ordered directly from this web site.
